MHS students named Scholastic Bowl all-conference

MENDOTA – The Three Rivers Conference has announced its all-conference members for the Scholastic Bowl season.

William Bentley and Neal Linden of Mendota High School were selected to the second team. MHS finished in 11th place in the team standings out of 14 schools with five wins and eight losses.

First Team

Erie-Prophetstown – Ryan Roman, David Egan; Hall – Collin Brown; Monmouth-Roseville – Liam Baldwin; St. Bede – Stephen Shaw; Orion – Eric Thorndyke; Riverdale – Tommy Murray, Emmett Mueller; Morrison – Aaron Freeman; Sherrard – Cody Dutton

Second Team

Mendota – William Bentley, Neal Linden; Kewanee – Jace Clayes; Bureau Valley – Bake Helms, William Gros; Sherrard – Vincent Wiley; Princeton – Keegan Fogerty, Nolan Mallery; Monmouth-Roseville – Laurabeth Bosomworth; Riverdale – Gavin Jenkins
