OREGON – The Mendota softball team has been assigned to the Oregon Class 2A Regional Softball Tournament to be played May 13, 14, 18.

The Lady Trojans will kick off the regional with a play-in game at Byron on Monday, May 13 at 4:30 p.m. Mendota is seeded 10^th in the sub-sectional.

The winner of that game will advance to take on top-seeded Stillman Valley at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 14 at Oregon Park West field. The other semifinal game will pit Oregon against Genoa-Kingston.

The two winners will meet for the regional championship at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 18.

The Oregon Regional champ will move on to the Marengo Sectional to battle the survivor of the Rock Falls Regional on Wednesday, May 22. The other two teams in the sectional will come from the Oregon and Aurora Central Catholic regionals.
