MENDOTA – The Mendota Lady Trojans closed out the regular soccer season with a 1-0 triumph over Dixon on May 1 at the MHS field. Mendota concluded the regular season with a 12-6-1 record.
Crystal Garcia scored Mendota’s goal.
The Lady Trojans will return to action in the Oregon Sectional on Saturday, May 11 against Aurora Central Catholic. Game time is noon at the Oregon Park West field. A win against Aurora Central Catholic will propel Mendota into the regional championship game against either Oregon or Aurora Rosary at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 14.
