MENDOTA - Two long-time members of Mendota American Legion Post 540, Dr. Robert Krenz and Len Schwemlein, were presented with certificates for their years of continuous membership during the March meeting. Dr. Krenz, above right, was honored for 75 years of continuous membership and Schwemlein, below right, for 50 years continuous membership. The certificates, which cite both members as outstanding contributors to the programs of the American Legion, were signed by National Commander James W. “Bill” Oxford, National Adjutant Daniel S.
