MENDOTA - L.E.A.S.E. will hold preschool screenings for Mendota District 289 at First United Methodist Church, 100 E. Sixth St., Mendota on Friday, Jan. 28.
The screenings are for children who will be 3 or 4 years old by Feb. 1, 2022. L.E.A.S.E. will screen key developmental areas such as motor development, speech, language, vision, hearing and general readiness.
Due to Covid-19, only one parent/caregiver may bring the child. Parents and children must wear masks.
All children must be screened to be eligible for the Preschool for All Program. If your child is currently enrolled in the Mendota District Preschool for All Program, he/she does not need to be screened again. Applications for Mendota District 289 Preschool for All will be at the screenings. The applications and screenings will be reviewed by the administration, and the family will be contacted as to whether a child qualifies for preschool.
To make an appointment, call Jean at (815) 433-6433.
