LA SALLE - What types of birds migrate in the fall? How far do they travel? These and many other questions will be answered during a free virtual program hosted by the LaSalle Public Library. Join Illinois Department of Natural Resource Coordinator and University of Illinois Extension Master Naturalist, Lisa Sons at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10 for her presentation, “Fall Bird Migration and Winter Feeding.”

Sons will also discuss the reason some birds migrate while other species stay year round and what types of food to put out for our winter backyard feathered friends. At the end of the presentation, she will answer audience questions via live chat.

This program is free and open to the public. If interested in attending, please register to receive the virtual viewing link by going to https://bit.ly/3jfnxd3.
