EARLVILLE - Margaret L. (Whitlock) Skaggs, 92, of Earlville passed away Feb. 4, 2021 at Heritage Health in Mendota.

Private graveside services will be held at Precinct Cemetery rural Earlville with Pastor Del Keilman officiating.

Margaret was born July 23, 1928 in Finley, Ky. to B.P. “Jack” and Mary J. (Allen) Whitlock. She married Otis Wayne Skaggs on July 3, 1946 in Jamestown, Ky. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Phyllis (Dave) Bickett and one son, Terry Wayne (Sue) Skaggs, both of Earlville; four grandchildren, David (Beth) Mann, of Metamora, Joseph (Danielle) Bickett of Pontiac, Amy (Harry) Armstrong of Muscle Shoals, Ala. and Matthew (Jennifer) Skaggs of Compton; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and several brothers and sisters.

Margaret worked as a clerk in the local drug store for 18 years. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
