MENDOTA - The Henry Public Library will offer a University of Illinois Extension virtual class on “Hearty Soups and Stews” on Tuesday, Nov. 10. Soup is nutritious and generally inexpensive to prepare. Participants will learn the many varieties of soups and how to layer different flavors, while benefitting from good nutrition.
Join Susan Glassman, Nutrition & Wellness Educator/University of Illinois Extension Education Center & Community Teaching Kitchen, in the comfort of your own home from10:30–11:30 a.m. on Nov. 10. Glassman will demonstrate how to make a seasonal butternut squash soup via Zoom. Handouts and recipes will be available.
