LaMOILLE – An 84-year-old LaMoille man was killed in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of U.S. 34 and Route 92 in LaMoille on June 14.

Rex Gott died at the scene of the accident, which occurred at approximately 9:18 a.m. He was driving an SUV that was struck by a pickup truck occupied by a 43-year-old man, a 40-year-old woman and a 4-year-old girl, all from Geneseo. The woman was transported to OSF Saint Paul Medical Center in Mendota. The man and girl were not injured.

The Bureau County Sheriff’s Department and the Bureau County Coroner’s Office are investigating the accident.
