MENDOTA - Judith F. Bentley, 70, passed away March 18, 2020 at Aperion Care, Spring Valley.

Cremation rites have been accorded and memorial services will be held at a later date.

Judith was born May 3, 1949 in New Ulm, Minn. to Harold and Myrtle (Hamann) Terry. She married Larry Carroll on June 16, 1967 in Charleston, S.C. On Sept. 4, 1981, she married Garold Bentley.

Survivors include her husband, Garold of Peru; two sons, Larry (Dianna) Carroll of Granville and Andrew (Melissa) Carroll of Beloit, Wis.; six grandchildren, Kainah, Emily, Jennahvieve, Joshua, Zachariah and Lucas; two great-grandchildren, Eleanor and Oliver; and one sister, Joy (Larry) Terry-Crosby of Lake Como, Fla..

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Judith graduated from Mendota High School in 1967. During her work career, she was an administrative assistant for 10 years at Illinois Valley Community Hospital, seven years with RR Donnelly in Mendota, and three years with the Wind Farm Project in Compton and West Brooklyn.
