OTTAWA –The Illinois Valley Beekeepers Association (IVBA) will meet at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12 in Ottawa. Anyone interested in beekeeping and wishing to learn more is welcome to attend. Meetings are free and open to the public.
Discussions this month will include a review of “What Do You Know?”/storing equipment for the winter and the pros and cons of wrapping your hive.
IVBA meetings take place from 7-9 p.m. on the second Friday of most months the U of I Extension Office, 1689 N. 31st Road, Ottawa. (There are no meetings in July and December.)
