LA SALLE - The LaSalle Public Library will virtually host Claire Evans, culinary travel guide and former U.K. resident, on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. with her presentation, “Happy Christmas at Home: Celebrating the Holiday, UK Style.”
In this virtual program, Evans will take viewers for a cultural tour of Christmas in Great Britain. She will talk about the special foods and drinks served at the holiday table and provide authentic recipes to try at home. She will also discuss traditions and cultural quirks essential to a proper British holiday. After this program, viewers will be fully prepared to eat, drink and be merry UK style.
