Gamma Phi presents teacher supplies

PRINCETON - Gamma Phi’s Supporting Early Career Educators Project (SEE) awards were presented in person by Pat Wiggim at a recent Gamma Phi meeting. Awards were given to Abby Shipp from Bureau Valley High School and Angela Kroefsky who teaches at Lincoln School in Princeton. Each teacher received supplies that will enhance their classroom’s curriculum.

Other winners who could not be present were Tess Heidenreich, who teaches math at Ohio Community School, and Madison Pearson, who teaches language arts at Logan Junior High in Princeton.

These grants are awarded to first, second or third year teachers who have a need to enhance the curriculum they teach with supplies that the school district does not provide. Teachers receive notice of these possible grants through their local school principal during September of each year. A limited number of awards are presented each year.
