MENDOTA - Frances Kay Ambler, 78, of Mendota passed away Feb. 28, 2020 at Franklin Grove Living and Rehabilitation.
Per her wishes there will be no services. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota is handling the arrangements.
Frances was born June 14, 1941 in Troy Grove to Frank and Fern (Edgcomb) Weygand.
Survivors include her husband, James Ambler of Mendota; daughter, Terri (Dan) Phalen of Monroe Center; two sons, Todd Schultz of Covington, La. and Ken (Pam) Schultz of Mohave Valley, Ariz.; two brothers, William (Deb) Weygand of Earlville and John (Rose Marie) Weygand of Mendota; two sisters, Patricia (Charles) Garrison of Yorkville and Jeanne (Doug Horn) Baron of Mendota; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death her parents.
Frances drove a school bus for the Mendota School District for 25 years. She enjoyed tending to her lawn and flowers.
