Kishwaukee part-time student honors

MALTA – Kishwaukee College is pleased to announce its part-time student honors list for spring 2020. Over half the students at Kishwaukee College attend school part time and many of these students have responsibilities that extend far beyond the classroom, including work and family obligations.

To be eligible for this honor, a student must have completed a minimum of 6 (but less than 12) semester hours of college-level courses at Kish with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Area students named to the spring part-time student honors list include:

Paw Paw – Anthony Castaldo, Ashlyn McLaughlin and Antonio Solis;

Amboy – Drake Barlow;

Lee – Audrey Hulthen, Thomas Rissman and Thomas Hulthen Wheeler. 

Carthage College graduation

KENOSHA, Wis. - Elizabeth Willis of Mendota graduated from Carthage College with the Class of 2020. A pre-recorded virtual commencement ceremony debuted on May 23 and a traditional celebration will be held on campus at a later date. 

Aurora University dean’s list

AURORA - Aurora University has named several area students to the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester. They include Fabiola Felix*, senior, Bachelor of Social Work, and Veronica Felix*, senior, Bachelor of Social Work, both of Mendota; and Barbara Carlson, senior, Criminal Justice, of Troy Grove.

The dean’s list recognizes full-time undergraduate students who have earned a 3.6 GPA or higher. Students recognized with high honors (*)earned a perfect 4.0.
