UW-Platteville dean’s list
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-Platteville has announced its dean’s list, honoring full-time students who earned high honors in the fall 2020 semester.
Local students included on the list are Marie Barnickel of Compton, an Agricultural Business major, and Lucas Anderson of Mendota, a Mechanical Engineering major.
The College of Business, Industry, Life Science and Agriculture and the College of Liberal Arts and Education require grade-point averages of 3.75 and above for dean’s list honors, while the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Science requires students to reach at least a 3.50.

Marquette University dean’s list
MILWAUKEE, Wis. - Brooke Carroll of Mendota has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2020 semester at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis. Carroll is pursuing a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
To make the dean’s list, students must earn at least 12 credits for the semester and have no disqualifying grades. The GPA threshold varies by college - the College of Education and the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences require at least a 3.7 to be included.
The undergraduate GPA requirement is 3.5 for the following colleges: the Diederich College of Communication, the College of Business Administration, the College of Health Sciences, the Opus College of Engineering and the College of Nursing. All other programs have a 3.75 GPA minimum.
Marquette University is a Catholic, Jesuit university that offers a comprehensive range of majors in 11 nationally and internationally recognized colleges and schools.
Augustana College dean’s list
ROCK ISLAND - Augustana College has announced more than 1,100 students were named to the dean’s list for the 2020-21 fall semester. Three Mendota students are included on the list, Abby Phalen and Cameron Phalen, who are both majoring in biology, and Bryson Prusator, who is majoring in history education.
To earn this academic honor, students must maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a four-point scale for courses taken during the term.
UWM dean’s list
MILWAUKEE, Wis. - Reiss Buettner of Mendota has been named to the dean’s list at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for the fall 2020 semester. Buettner is pursuing a degree in business.
UWM is the second largest university in the State of Wisconsin with more than 23,000 associate, undergraduate and graduate students.
