UW-Platteville fall graduates

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - Dillon Bodmer of Mendota was among more than 600 University of Wisconsin-Platteville students awarded diplomas for the fall of 2021. Bodmer received a degree in Civil Engineering during ceremonies held inside Williams Fieldhouse on the UW-Platteville campus.

UW-Platteville Dean’s List

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - Lucas Anderson of Mendota has been named to the University of Wisconsin-Platteville dean’s list honoring full-time students who earned high honors in the fall 2021 semester. Anderson is majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

The College of Engineering, Mathematics and Science requires students to reach at least a 3.50 to be included while the College of Business, Industry, Life Science and Agriculture and the College of Liberal Arts and Education require grade-point averages of 3.75 and above. 

University of Iowa President’s List

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Hannah Jean Smith has been named to the University of Iowa President’s List for the fall 2021 semester. She is the daughter of Brad Smith of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and the late Laurie Dalton Smith, formerly of Mendota.

The honor is reserved for the university’s highest-achieving students based on very stringent criteria. To be named to the President’s List, a student must be enrolled as a full-time student, earn a grade point average of 4.0 and maintain that average for two semesters in a row.

Smith is majoring in bio chemistry.
