MENDOTA – The Mendota City Council held a short regular meeting on Aug. 3.
Alderman John Holland presented the electric municipal aggregation supply bids and the council approved a new three-year contract with the current supplier, Dynegy Energy Services. Holland said the new agreement is at a 3.6 percent decrease from the most recent contract.
Alderman Jay Miller gave details of a license addition request. The Corner Tap was approved for one additional gaming machine.
The next regular meeting of the Mendota City Council will be Monday, Aug. 17 at 5:30 p.m.
