LA SALLE - Stage 212 is putting the talented young people of the Illinois Valley in the spotlight with “Stage 212 Youth Showcase,” a revue featuring a variety of production numbers with singing, dancing, skits and more.

Featured in the cast are Abi Heerdt, Alora Steil, Ava Weatherford, Brennan Roden, Briza Cervantes, Caydence Luke, Cici Verucchi, Clara Vaske, Dylan Kelley, Dylan Kofoid, Eugenia Craig, Gabrielle Smith, Gage Richey, Guiliana Koehler, Holly Malmassari, Jayden Leone, Joey Brown, Kailey Harper, Lainey Johns, Landon Harty, Liliana Cabrera, Maleeya Jonas, Mia Walker, Michaela Flashing, Michaela Smith, Myracle Johnson, Romeo Cabrera, Sadie Brzozowski, Sarah Huettemann, Tessa Gerling, Theadora Pappas-Anniballi, Tripp Tomaseski, Victoria Campbell and Vienna Fitzpatrick.

The production staff includes director Caryn Brown, producer Jessica Kreiser, assistant director Kevin Alleman​, stage manager Ella Johns, choreographer Victoria Duttlinger, cast mentors Andrew Beer and Zoe Piano, sound coordinator Andrew Paden, and stagehand Rosie Brown.

“Stage 212 Youth Showcase” will be presented Sept. 16-19. Because of the changing nature of the COVID virus in the community, performances will be held outdoors at Rotary Park in LaSalle instead of at the theater, so patrons are advised to bring their own chairs. All performances begin at 7 p.m., except the Sunday matinee, which begins at 2 p.m. Tickets are general admission and will be available to the public for $10 each beginning Aug. 30.

Tickets may be purchased by visiting the box office Monday 4-6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.-noon, by calling (815) 224-3025 during the same hours, or by visiting stage212.org. Tickets will also be available at all performances. Any changes to performance dates and/or times will be announced at a later date. Stage 212 will follow IDPH guidelines for Phase 5 for all performances.
