PRINCETON – The Friends of the Princeton Public Library is hosting a spring book sale at the Princeton Public Library, 698 E. Peru St.

A members-only preview will be held on Wednesday, March 23 from 4-6:30 p.m. Take-a-look books with yellow or blue dots on the book spines are half price. Sale dates and times for the general public are Thursday, March 24 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday, March 25 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday, March 26 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday take-a-look books with yellow or blue dots on the book spines are half price.

More than 9,000 quality used books, both hardcover and paperback, have been cleaned and sorted into over 30 categories for easy shopping. Included are children’s and young adult books, newer fiction and non-fiction, sports, biographies, gardening, poetry, classics, mysteries, 50-cent hard cover fiction, presidents, higher-priced non-fiction, how-to books (quilting, decorating, woodworking, remodeling), cookbooks, history and science. The sale will also include puzzles, CDs and DVDs.

The sale will be held in the Friends of the Library sale room. Patrons may enter through the front door of the library and follow the signs to the sale room. All hardcover and children’s books will be located in the sale room. Paperbacks, puzzles, CDs and DVDs will be in the adjoining area of the library. Payment should be made with the cashiers in the sale room.

Following guidelines of the Princeton Public Library, masks are no longer required, but are highly recommended to be worn upon entering the library and during shopping. Hand sanitizer will also be available in both sale areas.
