MENDOTA - The American Red Cross held a blood drive on May 4 at the Mendota Moose Family Center. There were 68 presenting donors and 70 good units were collected, which was a great turnout especially considering these uncertain times. Everyone’s time and donation are greatly appreciated.
Volunteers for the day were Sandy Schroeder, Margy Frey, Peg Mathesius-Cerveny, Lori Schlesinger, Kristi Carroll and Lori Simonton. Mendota Subway again donated sandwiches for the donor luncheon. Black Bros. also donated sandwiches and chips to the drive.
The next bloodmobile will be held on Tuesday, June 29 at the Mendota Moose Family Center. If you would like to make an appointment or have questions, please call Lori at (815) 866-3582.
