MENDOTA - Mendota Elementary District 289 Board of Education accepted a bid for roof replacement at Blackstone School during special meeting held on June 8. Superintendent Dr. Kristen School reported that RB Crowther was the lowest responsible bidder.

School said the board approved the scope of the roof replacement to include three base bids. These include: #1 - $96,620, #2 - $212,280, and #3 - $172,400, bringing the total cost of the project to $481,300.

The regular June Board of Education meeting has been moved from June 18 to Thursday, June 25 at 6:30 p.m. to accommodate the superintendent search process.
