HEAVENLY R. SMITH
Ryan and Jubentina (Escatel) Smith of Mendota are parents of Heavenly Rae, born Oct. 8, 2021, at OSF Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa. The baby weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and was welcomed home by siblings Carly, 6, Kale, 5, and Lionardo, 3. Maternal grandparents are Luis and Guadalupe Escatel of Mendota. Patnernal grandparents are Gary Smith of Ark City, Kan., and Deborah Thompson of Malden. Great-grandparent is Kathryn Jenkins of Mendota.
