MENDOTA – The Graves-Hume Public Library will host “Are You Curious About Medical Cannabis?” on Thursday, Sept. 14 at 6:30 p.m. The program will be presented by Kirsten Velasco, Patient Advocate for Illinois Women In Cannabis.

Medical cannabis, also known as medical marijuana, is now available in Illinois. What does it mean for you? Is it safe? How does a patient get it? What forms is it available in? This program can answer all your questions and clear up any misconceptions about medical cannabis. It is most beneficial for seniors, veterans and anyone with a chronic illness.
