MENDOTA - University of Illinois Extension is joining with the University of Illinois Family Resiliency Center to offer Abriendo Caminos, Clearing the Path to Hispanic Health. Abriendo Caminos is presented in Spanish for Hispanic families. As a family, you will work alongside volunteers and learn about healthy nutrition, the importance of physical activity, and family mealtime.

Abriendo Caminos family program for Hispanic health

MENDOTA - University of Illinois Extension is joining with the University of Illinois Family Resiliency Center to offer Abriendo Caminos, Clearing the Path to Hispanic Health. Abriendo Caminos is presented in Spanish for Hispanic families. As a family, you will work alongside volunteers and learn about healthy nutrition, the importance of physical activity, and family mealtime. 

Abriendo Caminos begins on April 19 and will continue through May 24 via Zoom. Sessions take place from 5:30–6:45 p.m. To register for the program, please contact Erica Escatel at (815) 200-5751 or e-mail eescatel@illinois.edu

Extensión de la Universidad de Illinois se une al Centro de Resiliencia Familiar de la Universidad de Illinois para ofrecer Abriendo Caminos, Clearing the Path to Hispanic Health. Buscamos familias de habla hispana para participar en el programa Abriendo Caminos. Como familia, trabajará junto con los voluntarios y aprenderá sobre: nutrición saludable, la importancia de la actividad física y la hora de comer en familia.
