LA SALLE - Much creativity will be put to use at the upcoming 4-H and Cloverbud holiday workshops scheduled to take place on Saturday, Nov. 13. These workshops will accommodate two age groups, 5-7 year olds and 8-19 year olds and be held from 9:30 a.m.-noon at the University of Illinois Extension Education Center and Community Teaching Kitchen in LaSalle.
Participants will work in groups to create multiple gift giving crafts, wrap them at a wrapping station and make personal holiday cards. In addition, games, refreshments and a fun holiday photo booth will be enjoyed. A fun take home treat will be given to each participant at the end of the workshop. Fees will be $10 for ages 5-7 and $15 for ages 8-19.
Those wishing to participate must sign up by calling the U of I Extension office, LaSalle County at (815) 433-0707. Registration closes Monday, Nov. 8.
