NACHUSA – Being a parent can be overwhelming at times. With the media broadcasting stories about increases in substance abuse and youth violence, there is a lot to think about when it comes to doing what is best for your child. When thinking specifically about your child’s education, ask yourself, “What am I doing to help increase my child’s chance toward educational success?”
If you answered “nothing” or have never thought about it before, here are 10 ways to stay involved in your children’s education.
Youth WORKS is a program of Lutheran Social Services of Illinois dedicated to reducing violence in our communities especially among teens.
