MENDOTA - The Chosen Ones will perform in Mendota at a free outdoor summer concert on Saturday, Aug. 4. The concert will take place at 6 p.m. in Veterans Park, downtown Mendota.

Everyone is welcome to attend this special event. Bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. In case of rain, the concert will be held at Christ’s Church, 1107 Main St., Mendota.

Recording artists The Chosen Ones of Manchester, Ill. feature three generations of smooth family harmony blending both traditional and progressive southern gospel music with light contemporary Christian music. Their unique approach appeals to a diverse audience.

The Chosen Ones are celebrating over 40 years in gospel music, having started their ministry in 1974. They have sung throughout the United States and abroad performing over 150 personal appearances annually.
