Paw Paw Village Board discusses several topics

PAW PAW – The Paw Paw Village Board held its monthly meeting on Jan. 8.

Second notices have gone out for some of the untagged/derelict cars, and the Sheriff’s Deputy will be informing property owners that the cars will imminently be towed and stored at owner’s expense.

The Fire Department requested that when the village workers are salting around town, if they would please salt the vehicle egress area and parking lot around the fire department. Request was granted.

New names of any veterans will be added to the Veterans’ Memorial in the park. Anyone wishing to submit a name to be added, please contact John Prentice.

Kristie Romanski has obtained permission from the Presbyterian Church to plant a new village Christmas tree in the southeast corner of the church’s grounds in the Spring.

The lumber yard property on Peru Street has been sold to the Lions Club.
