PERU - Balance problems and fall prevention are the topics Illinois Valley Community Hospital physical therapist Alison Theisinger will address when she presents a free public program at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 8. The program will take place at the IVCH room at Peru Mall.
Theisinger says falls are a particular problem for older adults and their cause can often be traced to balance issues. Refreshments will include pie and coffee.
Although there is no charge to attend the program, advance registration is requested either by calling IVCH at (815) 780-4642 or by going online at ivch.org.
