SUBLETTE – The February Village of Sublette meeting had three common words – accept, approve, and pass.

PAW PAW – Pastor Jedidiah Cary of the Paw Paw Bible Church thanked the Paw Paw Village Board for its generous donation to the Paw Paw Boys and Girls after-school program at the Feb. 6 village board meeting.

PRINCETON – The Bureau County Fairgrounds in Princeton will be the site for several events occurring in the next few months.

SUBLETTE – Snow and below zero temperatures were not going to stop the Village of Sublette meeting on Jan. 15 at the Ellice Dinges Center.

SUBLETTE – Three matters were finalized and a few more were discussed at the monthly Village of Sublette Board meeting on Dec. 11 at the Ellice Dinges Center.

SUBLETTE – The Sublette Village Board met Nov. 13 with a long agenda sheet.

LaMOILLE – Hal Adkins, an area author, and photographer, recently received notice that his novel, A Week and a Day, has been honored as the winner in both the Mystery/Suspense – Historical, and the Science Fiction - Parallel Universe/Alternative History, genres and categories, awarded by American Book Fest, during their 2023 American Fiction Awards Competition.

SUBLETTE – The Village of Sublette Board had a short, efficient meeting Monday, Oct. 9 at the Ellice Dinges Center in Sublette.

PAW PAW – The Paw Paw Village Board met in regular session on Sept. 13.

SUBLETTE – The Village of Sublette Board has crossed off many items on its to-do list in the last few months.

SUBLETTE – Despite rain almost all day, the Sublette Car Show still drew some unique cars on Sept. 17.

SUBLETTE — The Sublette Village Board voted to take additional steps on two properties that have had multiple ordinance violations.

SUBLETTE – The Sublette Village Board’s agenda became a little smaller after the May 8 village meeting as motions were filed and actions were put in place.

SUBLETTE — Election Day has come and gone, but it didn’t change an awful lot in terms of trustees on the Sublette Village Board.

PAW PAW – The Paw Paw Community Unit School District 271 Board met on April 18.

PAW PAW –The first ever Paw Paw Poker Run received permission to use Rogers Park and Lions Park as stations in the poker run, which will be held July 15, it was learned at the April 12 meeting of the Paw Paw Village Board.

SUBLETTE – Right before Sublette Village Board President John Stenzel asked for a motion to adjourn the April 12 meeting, he said, “This is a sad day.”

PAW PAW – Rob Edwards, and Erin and Rob Odle were both presented plaques at the Paw Paw School Board meeting on March 21, thanking them each for their over 15 years of dedicated volunteering, including, among many tasks, assisting at activities, and coaching.
