UTICA - In light of the Coronavirus pandemic, Governor Pritzker has announced the closing of all state parks, including Starved Rock State Park, until further notice. Additionally, with the “stay at home” order placed by Governor Pritzker, Starved Rock Lodge is now also closed. This includes the entire Lodge as well at the trails at the State Park. They hope to reopen on April 8.
For anyone who has a room reservation, activity, meeting or wedding planned at the Lodge during this time period, a staff member will reach out to re-schedule, if desired. Those who choose to cancel will have their deposit refunded. (Typically, a refund takes up to seven business days to process by credit card but with so many businesses facing this situation, they ask you to wait up to 14 days before calling the Lodge.)
Fundraising event postponed
UTICA - In compliance with an order from Governor JB Pritzker and in an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19, the fundraising benefit dinner “For the Love of Starved Rock” scheduled for April 5 has been postponed.
The event will take place at a future date which has not yet been determined.
Donations to the fundraising campaign can still be made at www.fortheloveofstarvedrock.com. Please direct any questions to kcasstevens@starvedrocklodge.com.
