MENDOTA - Stacy L. Carreon, 51, passed away Jan. 2, 2022 after an extended illness with her loving family by her side.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 5 at the Wasmer Funeral Home, followed by a private family Celebration of Life service with Rev. Jeff Windy officiating.

Stacy was born Oct. 19, 1970 in Mendota to Michael and Kay (Manning) Scott.

Survivors include two sons, Christopher Carreon of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Connor Carreon of Mendota; three grandsons, Jonah Carreon, Luan Carreon and Kingston Carreon; her parents, Michael and Kay Scott of Mendota; two sisters, Michelle (Rudy) Arteaga of Mendota and Nicole Scott of Gypsum, Colo.; one niece, Briana (Nick) Ganz; and one nephew, Nicholas Arteaga.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Mildred Manning; paternal grandparents, Edward and Wilma Scott; and one nephew, Anthony Arteaga.

Stacy attended and graduated from Mendota High School in 1988. She recently waitressed for Marchelloni’s in Mendota.
