MENDOTA - Mark your calendars, TWOSDAY (2/22/22) is coming! “According to the History Channel online, February 2022 will mark the end of the 222 days sequence in this century,” noted Emily Kofoid, Graves-Hume Public Library Director. “I think that deserves a celebration and more importantly, prizes! The sequence, which started two decades ago, will end on 2/22/22 - which is also a Tuesday! To celebrate, we’ll have fun games for all ages that day. It will be two-tally fun! ”

Multiple activities will be held at the library to celebrate this unique day. Adults will have a trivia sheet to complete to be entered in a drawing. Youth programming will have an all-day challenge to complete. All ages are invited to come into the library at any time and search for all the 2’s hidden in the building. Once they are finished, they will win a special prize.

No registration is required for these programs. Library programs are open to all and no library card is required. Check out Graves-Hume Public Library’s Facebook page for more details or stop in for a newsletter. They may be reached by phone at (815) 538-5142.
