SPRING VALLEY - St. Margaret’s support group for persons affected by Parkinson’s disease will meet at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 4 in the Hospital’s First Floor Presentation Room. This month’s speaker will be Karen Walsh Nussbaum, a local funeral director who will talk about “how to plan for your final arrangements.”
This support group offers emotional support, socialization and an opportunity to share information with others who are affected by Parkinson’s disease. The group meets regularly every first Monday of the month in the St. Margaret’s First Floor Presentation Room. Spouses, family members, caregivers, and friends are welcome to attend. Free valet parking is provided, and wheelchairs are available in the hospital.
