MENDOTA - Pamela Funfsinn, 70, of Mendota passed away unexpectedly at home on July 26, 2021.
Private graveside services were conducted at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Wasmer Funeral Home was privileged to assist the family.
Pam was born Nov. 24, 1950 in Aurora to Raymond and Marjorie (Kellett) Seifert. She married Cletus Funfsinn in Aurora on June 14, 1974.
Survivors include her husband of Mendota; one daughter, Vicki (David) Gilbert of Peru; one son, Thomas “TJ” (Jessica) Funfsinn of Wabash, Ind.; her mother, Marjorie Seifert of Yorkville; seven grandchildren, Destin, Heaven, Andi, Abigail, Lucas, Cheyenne and Damon; one sister, Sandy (Alan) Rosenberg of Oswego; and one brother, Thomas (Sue) Seifert of Elgin.
She was preceded in death by her dad.
Pam graduated from East Aurora High School in 1968. In her early career days, she was an X-ray technician, and then for many years worked for Dr. Donald Piller, retiring in 2015. Gardening and flowers were a joy to Pam, and her skill produced a large, varied and colorful landscape, the envy of any flower lover. Her other love was her grandchildren, who she so adored.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Wounded Warriors. Condolences may be left at wasmerfuneralhome.com.
