PRINCETON – The Mendota Lady Trojans will compete in the Princeton Class 2A Girls’ Regional Basketball Tournament to the played Feb. 15, 18, 20.

Mendota will open with a play-in game at Sandwich on Saturday, Feb. 15. Tip time is 1 p.m. The winner of that game will advance to the semifinals to face Princeton at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18 at Prouty Gym in Princeton. The other semifinal-round game will pit the winner of the Somonauk-Bureau Valley play-in game against top-seeded Rock Island Alleman at 6 p.m. Feb. 18.

The regional championship game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m.

The winner of the Princeton Regional will move on to the Rock Falls Sectional to face the winner of the Aurora Central Catholic Regional on Tuesday, Feb. 25. The other sectional contest will be between champions of the Stillman Valley and Erie regionals.
