LASALLE COUNTY - The LaSalle County Stockman’s Association will award $1,000 scholarships to applicants who are selected by a judging committee.

To qualify for this scholarship, an applicant must be a resident of LaSalle County or be a member of a LaSalle County 4-H Club or be a current or future graduate of a high school in LaSalle County. Applicants must be 17-23 years of age and meet one of the following criteria:

• Participated in livestock activities in 4-H or FFA and pursuing higher education.
• Coming from a background of livestock production and pursuing higher education.
• Pursuing higher education in livestock production or animal husbandry.
