MENDOTA – The Mendota varsity girls’ soccer team won a 2-0 battle with Winnebago on April 30 at the MHS field.
Crystal Garcia scored one goal for the Lady Trojans. The other Mendota tally was an own goal when a Winnebago player inadvertently directed the ball into her own net.
The Lady Trojans improved their season record to 13-5-1.
