Joneses to mark 60th anniversary with open house on May 18

SUBLETTE – Bob and Betty (Smith) Jones will be celebrating their 60th Diamond Wedding Anniversary.

Bob and Betty, with their children, will be having an open house on Sunday, May 18, from 2-4 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Hall, 201 Locust St., Sublette, Please, no gifts, your presence will be a joyful gift in itself.

They were married on May 15, 1965, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Sublette, by Reverend Father Robert Donavan.  They have been blessed with five children, along with one little angel in heaven, Michael Jones, of Newnan, Ga., Michelle Jones Ernest of Garden Prairie, Daniel Jones, of Carrollton, Ga., Douglas Jones, of West Brooklyn, and Deborah Jones Althaus, of Sublette. They have a total of 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
