LA SALLE - The Illinois Valley Beekeepers Association will hold their next meeting on Friday, Nov. 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the University of Illinois Extension Center, 1689 N. 31st Road, Ottawa.

This month’s meeting will include election of officers and a visit from the area bee inspector, Jim Wellwood, who will speak to the group.

Anyone who is interested in beekeeping and would like to learn more, please attend this IVBA meeting. Meetings are free, open to the public and take place on the second Friday of the month (there are no meetings in July or December).
