MENDOTA – Mendota High School senior Paige Manning has signed a letter of intent to attend the University of Dubuque (Iowa) to play softball next year. Manning will be a pitcher for the Spartans. Her parents, Steve and Valerie Manning, and sister, Peri, joined her at the signing.
The University of Dubuque is a NCAA Division III affiliation and a member of the American Rivers Conference. Other schools in the conference are Buena Vista University, Central College, Coe College, Loras College, Luther College, Nebraska Wesleyan University, Simpson College and Wartburg College. The Spartans posted a 23-19 overall record during the 2021 season.
