College graduates, dean's lists announced

Monmouth College graduates
MONMOUTH - Two local students, Rebecca Monica of Mendota and Joshua Gross of LaMoille Summa Cum Laude graduated from Monmouth College in May. Monica and Gross, who graduated Summa Cum Laude, were honored with their graduating class during a virtual commencement ceremony on May 17. The ceremony featured a video address by Sam Vaghar, co-founder of the Millennium Campus Network.
Founded in 1853, Monmouth College is a nationally ranked liberal arts college. Affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and the birthplace of the women’s fraternity movement, the college offers 38 majors, 42 minors, 17 pre-professional tracks, and two innovative Triads in Global Food Security and Global Public Health.
WIU dean’s list
MACOMB/MOLINE - Natalie Landgraf of Mendota and Daniela McConville of Earlville were among 1,359 undergraduate students enrolled at Western Illinois University named to the 2020 spring dean’s List. The total includes 127 students at the WIU-Quad Cities Campus.
To receive this award, students had to earn a minimum 3.6 grade point average on a scale of 4.0, in a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded courses; pass-fail hours are not counted.
Bradley dean’s list
PEORIA - Several area residents were among more than 2,600 students named to the spring dean’s list at Bradley University. They include Evan Weber, accounting major; Noah Bollinger, finance major; Samuel Becker mechanical engineering energy major; and Cameron Schumacher, psychology major, all of Mendota; and Caleb Sarff of LaMoille, mechanical engineering major.
To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must achieve a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester on a 4.0 scale.
