PRINCETON - The Princeton Public Library will host a blood drive in the Matson Meeting Room on Tuesday, April 21 from 1-5 p.m. Please note: The library will not be open for business, but the Matson Meeting Room will be made available for this important public service. The need for blood donors is great now, so please consider donating.
Appointments are required to insure safety protocols. The number of people who can be in the room at one time will be limited to keep everyone 6 feet apart for safety. Donors should sign up early to get their preferred time slot.
To make an appointment, go to the blood center website at www.bloodcenter.org or call (800) 747-5401.
On the day of the blood drive, donors can save 10-15 minutes by answering the questions at home on their cell phone. This cuts down time at the donation site. Text EarlyQ to answer these questions. This must be done the day of the donation (April 21).
Remember to cancel your appointment if you are not feeling well, have a cough, or are in contact with someone who is sick with a cough or fever.
