PERU - The Illinois Valley Area Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development’s (IVAC) next Business Breakfast Seminar will feature “Year in Review.”
Join the discussion at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at Mario’s Maples in Peru as IVAC Executive Director Joni Hunt looks at the year’s accomplishments and presents the goals and objectives for 2020.
Hunt, who has served as executive director of the IVAC since 2015, is passionate about people, places and prosperity. She has had repeated opportunities to assist project managers in finding properties, buildings and financing. She feels these opportunities are important to the Illinois Valley whether it is partnering with an expansion of a corner mom and pop retailer, or negotiating rail service options for a multi-national corporation. Her goal is to exceed the expectations of the community by engaging all appropriate resources toward economic development along the backbone of this region.
The seminar will begin with a hot breakfast buffet served at 7:15 a.m. and the program will start at 7:30 a.m. Reservations must be made by calling (815) 223-0227 no later than noon on Tuesday, Feb. 11. The breakfast is open to the public.
