MENDOTA - Mendota Optimist Club members spent part of their Saturday morning helping to pour concrete for new batting cages at Strouss Park.
Ready to lend a hand are, left to right, Shane Allen, Evan Wixom, Luke Phalen, John Setchell, Matt Novak, Travis Barkman, Todd Zimmerlein and Tim Schwingle. The club expressed their appreciation to local companies, Black Bros.
