DIXON – The family of Diana (Prentice) Wise hosted a surprise 80th birthday party and Prentice family reunion on May 28th at the Dixon VFW. The honored guest was surprised by family members from as far as North Dakota, Pennsylvania and New York. Fifty-five family members were in attendance including Diana Wise’s husband of 63 years, Bert Wise; her brother Harry Prentice, Jr. of Leaf River; sister-in-law June Prentice of Mendota; her four children, Michael (Deb) Wise of Morton; Jody (Tim) Mitchell of Dixon; Mark (Joann) Wise, and Scott (Beth) Wise, all of Mendota. The Wises have 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 11 nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews, most of who were in attendance.
