NEW ALBANY, Ohio - William “Bill” Francis Stephenitch, 80, of New Albany, Ohio passed away July 14, 2017.
Pursuant to his wishes, the family held a private celebration of Bill’s life and there was no visitation.
Bill (aka “Billy Frank” and “Popill”) was born May 16, 1937 in Amboy to Frank and Mary (Farley) Stephenitch. He married Jane Fitzpatrick.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years; three children, Michele (Dave) Kinnick, Bill (Christine) Stephenitch and Tom Stephenitch; four grandchildren, Katie, James and Tom Kinnick and Frankie Stephenitch; and one brother, James (Willie) Stephenitch of Colorado.
Bill proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1955-1963. He worked successfully in the vending industry for over 45 years on the state and national level and was an avid golfer with the mantra, “If you had fun you won.” Although he believed his greatest accomplishment was his family, he will be best remembered by others for his infectious laugh, sense of humor and outgoing personality. Bill was a faithful friend, always had a shoulder to lean on and was a positive impact on so many people.
