MENDOTA - The trees have been decorated and now it is time for everyone to vote. Friends of the Library invites the community to stop by Graves-Hume Public Library in Mendota to vote for their favorite decorated Christmas tree. Each of the trees has been uniquely decorated. “I love seeing the trees come in. Each tree is so different and represents each creator,” says Emily Kofoid, Director.

This is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Library. Voting is done using money. Every penny is one vote, every dollar is 100 votes. All proceeds will help Friends of the Library provide future library programs. The Friends Group is a separate, charitable entity that supports the Library in monetary donations for books and programs not in the Library’s budget.
Voting ends on Wednesday, Dec. 23 and the winners will be announced on Dec. 28. The grand prize winner will receive a $30 Mendota Chamber Gift Card and the second-place winner will be awarded a $20 Mendota Chamber Gift Card.
