MENDOTA - Mendota American Legion Post 540 will again this year decorate the graves of veterans in preparation for Memorial Day. They will place grave marker flags at Restland, Holy Cross and Lutheran cemeteries in honor of our fallen military veterans. Volunteers are invited and needed to assist on Monday, May 20 starting at 3 p.m. Rain date will be Tuesday, May 21 at 3 p.m.
The Post invites anyone who wishes to help with the cemetery decoration to meet at the flagpole in Restland Cemetery at 3 p.m. on May 21. The flags will be removed on Monday, June 3.
